Responsibilities

• Invent, design, implement and deploy high performance algorithms in the areas of Information Extraction, Knowledge Engineering and Collaboration
• Manage teams, schedules and product deliverables

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong foundation in system design, software architecture, web technologies, algorithms and data structures
• Strong background in one more areas of information retrieval, Internet search, Transactional platforms, Web servers and large databases
• Working knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code
• Well versed in Java, C, C++, XML, Perl, AJAX, Databases, Web 2.0 concepts
• Proficient in Extreme/Agile Programming techniques and ability to multi-task
• Strong knowledge and keen interest in emerging tools and technologies in the industry
• 5 plus years of hands-on development experience a must
• Growing and mentoring teams from ground zero and startup experience are a plus
• Excellent communication skills, planning and attention to details and customer requirements are a must
• Masters in CS or equivalent preferred.
